Cindy founded BTP in early 2011, bringing her passion for brand building and expertise in brand strategy and integrated marketing communications to a wide variety of companies and industries. Prior to forming BTP, Cindy served as CMO of Gatorade and Propel, overseeing all marketing activities. Prior to being named CMO, Cindy spent 7 years as VP of Equity Development for Gatorade where she led the development of ground-breaking insights that led to numerous award-winning and business building-campaigns for both Gatorade and Propel.
Cindy's Full BioMarie joined BTP in 2017, following several years at American Express as the SVP, Global Advertising and Brand Management, leading advertising, media, sponsorship, brand, and insights efforts. Previously, at Pepsico, Marie was the CMO of the Quaker Foods and Snacks $3B+ portfolio and the VP of Marketing for Gatorade, responsible for new product innovation and the Propel business.
Marie's Full BioDanny has been partnering with BTP since 2013. His most recent agency position was at Element 79 Partners, where he was a writer and Group Creative Director across several categories including travel, foods, and beverages, winning both One Show and Effie Gold and Silver. He spent over 16 years on Gatorade, writing dozens of memorable ads and getting trash talked by Michael Jordan too many times to count.
Danny's Full BioPJ joined BTP in 2012 to continue her love for “all things communications.” Previously, she was VP of Strategic Communications for PepsiCo, leading the company’s corporate reputation efforts. Earlier, she was VP of Public Affairs for Quaker/Tropicana/Gatorade, and has spent her career creating opportunities and resolving issues in brand PR, stakeholder communications, crisis PR and agency management.
PJ's Full BioNeal brought his extensive experience to Brand Team Partners in 2018 following an impressive career in research, creative planning and brand strategy with a number of world class advertising and PR agencies. Prior to BTP, he held senior roles at Leo Burnett, FCB, Element 79 Partners, Edelman and Burson Marstellar. From foods and pharma to hair care, hospitals and hospitality, Neal has helped a diverse group of brands and service clients better define and effectively communicate their stories and connect with their audiences.
Neal's Full BioKaren joined Brand Team Partners in June 2020, following a 25+ year career in public relations at both boutique communications agencies and leading global firms. Karen brings proven expertise in brand communications, earned storytelling strategy, positioning/messaging, and media and influencer engagement. She has a deep understanding of how earned media and influencers can drive impact across every stage of the customer journey. She has extensive experience launching new products and brands, building brand equity and shaping and changing attitudes and perceptions. She is known for her integrated marketing savvy and ability to deliver strategic and creative thinking that works cohesively across all channels.
